      Important Workshop Pricing Notes: If you are a Student or an Individual whose employer is in an Appalachian County, your registration is free. If you do not meet either of these guidelines, you will be subject to a $300 Registration Fee which will be sent via invoice. Appalachian counties include Ashtabula, Trumbull, Mahoning, Columbiana, Carroll, Tuscarawas, Holmes, Jefferson, Harrison, Coshocton, Muskingum, Guernsey, Belmont, Perry, Hocking, Athens, Meigs, Morgan, Noble, Monroe, Washington, Vinton, Jackson, Gallia, Lawrence, Ross, Pike, Scioto, Highland, Adams, Brown, and Clermont. The course addresses the fundamentals of methods and techniques of Reverse Engineering and Rapid Prototyping including 3D Scanning, Mesh processing and CAD modeling. The course will outline the design phases and the circumstances in which Reverse Engineering and Rapid Prototyping are the most advantageous. Attendees will have the opportunity to conduct demonstration projects by directly using the available tools in a lab setting. Tools will include 3D scanners and Reverse Engineering software (Artec Studio, HIPP, Faro RevEng, Spaceclaim and Fusion). The combination of fundamental methods and practical activities enables both the strengthening of attendees’ design background and the acquisition of valuable professional skills. Workshop Logistics: Registration: 8:30 AM Workshop Begins: 9 AM Parking can be found at the ABM lot across the street from TBB5. This lot is also located behind the Tyler Mahoning Valley History Center. There is a fee to park in this lot. Any questions regarding parking can be directed to lot administrator, ABM Parking.
